Nicole

I was born in Decatur, Alabama in September 1976. We lived there until 1988 when we moved down the street from Grandmother and Pop in Cullman. I grew up there and graduated from West Point High School in 1994. After receiving a scholarship, I began to pursue my dream of being a nurse when I enrolled in school at Jacksonville State University. During my time at Jacksonville, I participated in the Baptist Campus Ministries Ensemble. We sang at numerous churches in Alabama and Georgia. I graduated from Nursing School in May of 1998. In September of that year, I began working at Egleston Children's Hospital in Atlanta as a Pediatric Nurse. I remained there until 2000 when I began working for Cross Country Travcorps as a Travel Nurse. I worked at Yale Children's Hospital (Connecticut), Maimonides Hospital (New York), Seattle (Washington) and Tripler Army Med Center (Honolulu, HI). While in Hawaii, I met Will (Victoria and Deja) and we married in June of 2002. I gave birth to Breanna in December 2003 prior to being reassigned to Ft Stewart, GA. After Will was separated from the Army, we moved to Trussville and I began working for Children's Hospital of Birmingham. We began trying to have another baby and to our suprise, found out I was expecting twins. Andrew and McKenzie were born in April 2007. Our family suddenly became the "Stoddard 7". I always dreamed of being a mommy and a nurse. All of my dreams are fulfilled. I am currently working as a Nurse Clinician in Pediatric Orthopaedics and absolutely love being a mother of five.
